Jim and Laura welcome you to our family run B&B accommodation in
Kilkenny Ireland. Our Bed and Breakfast is a newly renovated farmhouse set in a
tranquil scenic area on the edge of the Castlecomer plateau in Kilkenny. It has
ample views and plenty of clean fresh air.
Adjacent to our home we have a working farm with lots of animals big and
small and some rare breeds.

On arrival, enjoy complementary tea & coffee with some home baking and an Irish
warm welcome.
Castlecomer and Ballyragget are excellent towns to visit, both have lots of
activities to do for everyone
Castlecomer is a traditional town with its unique lime tree square, always a
picturesque town. Castlecomer demesne has lovely forest walks with fishing
lakes. There is a playground for the kids. You can relax in coffee shop in the
arts and crafts market yard or visit the new mine museum.

|
Castlecomer has a superb 18-hole championships golf course |
|

|
|
Castlecomer has many fine shops
and pubs, which serve great food and excellent entertainment. |
Near by we have Ballinakill. It has the lovely Heywood house, gardens, and Mass
lock lake where you can feed the ducks and swans. It also has an open-air
swimming pool in the summer
How about feeding the deer in the nearby Jeinkstown woods and take a stroll in
the woods.
Visit Dunmore cave, an underground river in ancient geological times,
which contain some of the finest calcite formations found in caves in Ireland
today. |
